If every substance was legal and available for purchase like Marijuana Or Tobacco Overdoses would go down, Crime would go down, Murders would go down, gov would be making a killing and a bunch more stuff

@everyone, I have a subject I want to debate, the subject is "The truth" Anti Tobacco ads,

Ill start, Humans have been consuming Tobacco for hundreds of years, there are cultures that revolve around tobacco,

Im not agaisnt people who are anti tobacco, But these ads are filled with Manipulative quotes, straight up Lies, And twisting words about products that were made for a specific reason, example "One juul pod contains as much nicotine as a pack of cigarettes", First of all, Juul was made to replace cigarrettes, so wouldnt be obvious that one pod should be the same as one pack of cigs?

if they would just stop twisting words and lying, I wouldnt care

but the fact that they lie and try to demonize anything containing nicotine just pisses me off

Tobacco is bad for you, yes 100%, Will you devolope cancer from smoking your entire life, It depends on your genes, my genes most likely will not develop cancer from using nicotine, ( I use smokeless tobacco, dip/snuff/chew)

Smoking tobacco on the other hand does have serious health risks, I didnt go to school for 2 years and i spent my time walking the streets and picking up swisher sweet packs filled with tobacco because people just wanted to wrap to smoke cannabis, Id pick up cig butts and any other tobacco id find, and If I got a big enough cig butt Id smoke it, but most likely I would sit there for hours and smoke out of a copper pipe with a tin foil "bowl" and since i was still growing it stunned the growth of my lungs, My grandfather smoked 5 cigars a day since he was 8 years old (it was a very different time) and the worst he got was very mild COPD, he's 72-73 and works in his carpenter shop every time, My father smokes ciggarettes since he was 18, hes 49-50 and he is just fine

Tobacco causes unwanted and harmful effects, Nicotine does not.

There are products out there like ZYN Nicotine pouches that contain 0% tobacco, There are Vaporizer juices that do not contain tobacco, patches, gum, lozenges, there are many ways to use nicotine without tobacco and they are tremendously safer that tobaccoo, but these anti buzz companys target anything and everything that contains nicotine.

Like i said before I wouldnt have a problem with it if the just didnt lie and manipulate
