There’s also a strong amount of racism intertwined as well with a large portion believing in white genocide conspiracy theory.

You can’t change people’s minds with facts in a debate or evidence it’s easily ignored.

There’s studies that show if you find common ground the person is more willing to believe your side. I.e if I break bread with you about a conspiracy you are more willing to hear my side about the earth not being flat
