Hey guys...my mom is, I think, really left. When I gave my opinion on the Jacob Blake incident, she got pissed on how I thought he shouldn’t have walked away from police.

Naturally, she now thinks I’m a racist that hates black people and sucks off the police and I’m just like...riiiight.

I’m just perplexed and I’m not sure what to do. What do you guys think?

Personally, I don’t think they should’ve shot him. They could’ve tackled or tasered him but I still think it was justified as he reached into the car and they cops didn’t know what he could’ve pulled out.

But apparently I’m the biggest racist in my family right now!

Still tho, you don’t just walk off from police, even if your white and have the most privileged life in there world, and when they’re telling you to stop.

I think it’s because of identity politics. And the 2016 election exacerbated that issue.

I also think that people now care more about FEELINGS than FACTS.



My mom got pissed when I asked her about if there was a body or dash cam for the officers that pulled over a black police officer because I wanted to see if her story matched up with the footage.

I’m curious though about what forms of inequality women face today
