I'm from a family of engineers. They've all said that there is no such thing as renewable energy, and everything politicians claim to be renewable are not self-sustainable. They said it takes way more times the petroleum energy to produce the steel and mechanics to create the maintain solar panels, windmills, dams, you name it, and further, to maintain those things, than the energy those thing will create within their lifetime.

I don't see why environmentalists are cool with solar panels, though. To change the Arizona landscape like that will change habitats and kill animals. To keep them clean would mean chemical runoff

Free college will only help the upper classes and create more economic divide because it will ration college to only those who have a proven record to qualify

And, those who are not graced with a chance to obtain a college education not only won't be able to get a higher paying job, they'll have to pay for the others to have the privilege
