I want to thank all of you, I’ve felt trapped in my city, a Democrat Stronghold in the midwest. These past few months have been hard. When i found this discord the other day it’s really helping to uplift my spirits for november 3rd.

Michigan. We flipped red in 2016, but the cities have all been Democrat.

It took all but 4 counties to flip the state red. And we still voted in a tyrant for governor.

The other day she was making veiled threats that left me with the impression “vote for biden or i send us back to stage 1 lockdowns.

The couple friends i can talk conservatively to we refer to her as Governor wHitler.

We’re paying for an emergency hospital President Trump had set up to treat 100,000 covid patients that has only treated 16 since april, and the governor sent covid positive patients into nursing homes. I’ve worked in healthcare for 10 years and my colleagues think she’s done an amazing job.

Yea she’s trying to get those numbers higher. My coworkers complain about medicaid only paying us 60% of our cost to treat these patients and feel more government healthcare will be better

insurance companies have all of the say on treatments. Dictating what procedures are covered and aren’t. The government is giving tax credits for covid cases. The tax credits are offsetting the shutdown costs from the lockdown and no outpatient procedures

Not a lot of people know this but most of a hospital’s income isn’t from everyday admissions, the most income comes from outpatient procedures, ICU stays and Doctor’s referrals.

The hospitals will sink the most money into the maternity and pediatric sections of the hospital. If you’ve ever noticed maternity wards will have the highest quality rooms. Often have hardwood floors, colorful paintings, larger private rooms, better doctor to patient ratios, even though delivering a baby is one of the simplest procedures a hospital can do in most cases.

Pediatric and neonatal rooms are often the most accommodating with big tv screens, better cable channels, sometimes gaming consoles. It’s all an investment to keep patients and families loyal to the hospital throughout familial development.

Next time you’re in one pay attention to it. You’ll also see specialist surgeons office areas are well funded. This is less to keep the patients happy and more to accommodate rare and expensive commonly used specialists, cardiovascular surgeons, neuro surgeons, etc.

Is anyone else turned off of certain celebrities and content creators when they start expressing their political beliefs?

I can’t watch football, NBA, Certain channels i liked on youtube, some movies because it reminds me of all of the politics in everything

I liked to watch hermitcraft streamers on youtube as a way to unwind, and one of the people i follow was comparing the president to hitler, this creator is from Germany and should know better

It just bothers me because my family was affected by the holocaust and comparing the two detracts from the atrocities committed by Hitler and those that served him. I am an avid student of history specifically interested in what led to World War 1& II The fall of the monarchies and The rise of Marxism

Tax payer funded college is expensive, even if we could pay for everyone it would result in a flooded market. Making most undergrad degrees near worthless with the number of people in each field competing with them. Think high school diploma with more gender studies

I think there was some strategy to why trump acted the way he did, debate 1 to make joe look weak, problem is he really didn’t need to bully joe just let him talk.

A big issue at least for me in the debates is free-speech I know a couple other people that that’s the same way and watching the pPresidential candidates be censored in real time probably swing a lot of voters
