@ScaryScarab is right... "Mark" in the context of Mark of the Beast = Character of the Beast.. The opposite of having the character of Jesus Christ. So what about the forehead? Well, behind the forehead is our frontal lobe brain which is the area where our character and moral judgment resides.. So the question is will we take on the character of the beast or of Jesus? Mark on the hand part may refer to what we "do" as we usually accomplish things for good or evil with our hands?
