Our country in Tennessee is only blue because of Memphis. Where I live is mainly right wing

Memphis' mayor is a democrat, but he's done a great job at keeping riots from happening there.

The current (re elected as of last year) mayor of Memphis is pretty popular with the police (mainly because the last one screwed them over)

A.C. Wharton (I think that's how it's spelled) was a nightmare

Look, if my grandparents wanted to walk over to west tennessee from California to celebrate Christmas with us, I wouldn't be opposed to it because we barely get to see them and they are grown adults that can make their own decisions

If my great grandpa wanted to carry them on his shoulders, that would be even better

If my mom's mom wanted to swim all the way over here from Israel (if she still lives there), that would be great!
