Fuck Stalin.
Now, I gotta ask...
Was Stalin really a socialist?
I mean, Stalin's works are both extremely revisionist on Lenin and Marx.
Absolutely.
Yeah
Well, I don't think the consequences of Stalin were as bad as those of Hitler, but they are both some of the worst people in history.
Socialism is Communism.
They are the same thing.
Interchangable terms.
Hmmmm, not exactly..
Marx used Socialism and Communism interchangebly, but he used Communism more as Socialism had a more bourgeois characteristic to it, as he put it.
Yep
The step to Communism or Socialism is the dictatorship of the proletariat, at least according to Marx and Engels. This is sometimes referred to as Socialism itself, often by Marxist-Leninists.
But Marx never described the dictatorship of the proletariat as Socialist, and neither did Lenin.
That is true, Russia went from being a semi-Feudal state to the first country to launch a rocket into space, and managed to defend against Nazi Germany.
The cost though...
Plus, how Russia managed to industrialize was very much thanks to the selling of the fruits of the labor of the proletariat abroad, very opposed to Communism. Rather, the USSR was state capitalist.
Marx said that the revolutions would take place in the most advanced countries, which had late stage capitalism, such as Germany, which he had in mind. He recognized there was revolutionary activity taking place in Russia, which was noted in the 1882 preface to the Russian edition of the Communist Manifesto. And he did recognize the semi-Feudal position of Russia, and he stated that whether or not it would result in Communism, it would be a signal for the oncoming proletarian revolution in the advanced, late stage capitalist countries of West Europe.
And there was a revolution in Germany, very much promoted bu the Russian revolution, so Marx was correct in that manner. But, the revolution failed.
I mean, Americans may not care about Romania, but it's very much in the Capitalists' interests to have as large a market to dominate as possible.
Capital seeks to expand everywhere, so it is simply in America's best interest to have influence over Romania.
I mean, America didn't do so well in the war on terror, how can they face against China.
I mean, neither would win.
But it wouldn't matter, there wouldn't be another violent war between major powers, as it's detrimental to Capital.
As for Communism being unachievable, that may be true.
Revolution itself is much more difficult today.
And the proletariat don't have much interest as a whole in revolution yet.
Communism has too much infighting.
I mean, you may not care about the global market, but globalism is inevitable.
Isolationism simply isn't an option anymore.
It's pretty unfortunate.
But as I said earlier, Capital seeks to expand and dominate all. It needs to expand and grow, otherwise it collapses.
Isolating America will only lead to the collapse of Captialism, as such.
I know it isn't isolated, I'm just saying complete globalism is inevitable.
Is it possible to reverse the results of the electoral vote though?
Then it kind of looks like Biden is locked in as the next president, honeslty.
