Only time I've broken that law and wasn't on my home soil hahaha

Archery is good tricky but satisfying

And very quiet, even a suppressed gun firing sub sonic ammo cant compete and most arrow heads will go right through body armour

Well they'll go through kevlar and cloth fabrics very easily, steel not really

Steel ceramics not really but yeah anything else pretty much itll go through especially if use a crossbow with 150-250lb force

Most powerful crossbow I used was a 200lb and had a geared crank handle so could wind it back to the latch, so bloody quiet too and bolt flew almost flat was crazy

Probably wouldn't but a specialised soldier trained in archery isn't a horrible idea especially given the types of heads you could have

Almost of not more versatile than a shotgun considering what you could shoot at the enemy, anything from standard explosive incendiary even EMP arrows

Be used as a sniper or as a spotter tells the guys where the enemy are to take then out in sequence quietly

Be like Farcry only irl

Using stealth and a weapon that's for all purposes completely silent

Same with lasers as they technically don't produce sound or a parabolic arch so you can fire them at immense distances

Talking about killing a target with laser precision *pun intend* from miles away

Plus at almost 300,000m/s you ain't dodging that

For perspective a .44 magnum is 1000ft/s be about 300m/s

Fastest round I shoot the .300 Winchester Magnum is 3500ft/s

That's still nowhere close

Plus my record so far is a 1m 3ft wide steel circle

At 2.4 miles

That's 12,672ft away

Just under 4 seconds to hit it, took 7 shots but I did it

But was so amazing hitting that plate. Was going for a 4km shot but I couldn't see the dam thing so moved closer to where barely see it and tried

And got it

So for now the THE longest shot ever fired from a ballistic weapon is 2.4 miles

I think because only roughly worked out the range so

But I'm off to bed now everyone, sleep well and have a great Christmas day and dont horde all the turkey!

Could be worse, got my eyes on something I'd like to own in a few years maybe months if my business idea really kicks off

Nothing special or amazing really it's just a

A Chieftain Main Battle Tank

She'll need some work but for ยฃ50,000 not bad at all

Who doesn't wanna own a tank?

Been looking into it for a while now few months and figured once the online business is setup money's coming in and got a time to spare buy it and modify it. Thinking Diesel Turboshaft engine, hydro pneumatic suspension, gotta make it legal so no auto loader and tracks gotta be rubber for road use, fix up her bad bits new transmission to accommodate the engine switch and a lick of paint.

She'll look lovely ๐Ÿ˜Š

My plans for 2021 hope they actually go ahead unlike this year

Would you rather have a gun and never use it, or be in a dangerous situation which can happen and be unable to protect yourself and others?

I'm British and I'm saying that btw

It basically says that the right to bare arms and to have a militia to protect against things taking away the rights of people shall not be infringed

That's not the 2and amendment word for word obviously I've just reinterpreted it

Well it would help if it wasn't on the most cluttered table on Earth

Looks like an old sporting rifle of some kind

Can't tell really but (I'm not saying what it is) looks like those old Winchester and Remington semi automatic rifles/shotguns because some could take shells used for bird shooting

Know ones that had a very limited capacity or single shot fired a large round filled with birdshot

Something bit like that

Not familiar with those kinds of firearms really, most were iffy to use and weren't used in military service

Yeah 1st thing I saw no bolt or changing handle so I'm thinking maybe a semi automatic shotgun with a depress lever

Load it and chamber a round after bolts traveled, but you'd still need a way to cycle the bolt

Unless a work in progress and they're building a gun

Gonna need to carve out the stock more, get a better barrel bloody hell it's rusted to hell! Sights or an optic, a working bolt action I'd reccomend for that probably aluminium alloy as slightly lighter receiver but keep the bolt steel since it's the moving part

Probably go .30 caliber round with that .308 would be good nice balance between power and recoil, think need to make the rifle heavier or more robust for a 30-06

And obviously give the wood a nice varnish

Looks like half the parts are either broken or missing, If I was still in the states I'd love to do her up

Be what $250 full restoration and any modifications would be added onto the price but at a 20% discount as being restored

What Ralph used to do lol

Good times working in the shop modding, repairing, restoring and of course testing guns

Could be because I don't see from that angle how it loads

Could if you really wanted rip it apart and convert it to a real rifle

Though would take some work

Would for .22lr lol

Yeah probably right really be best to simply build from scratch or buy a rifle

My phone keeps bugging me to update, ffs I'll be back

Fan of the G3 although the G36c is to my liking

And back finally dam phone. 341 apps optimizing, ffs I only use 30 apps what is the point of the others?

What I'd give to be allowed ARs and AKs in the UK

Nice but not sold on the stock

Not to my taste

I'd just have a multi position stock or compensating stock like on an AK I never got to finish

Was gonna try to build the AEK-971 system into an existing AK

Got it to work, just

Dude you think your laws are stupid

You can't own a handgun unless in Northern Ireland

But a .50cal bolt action rifle? Be my guest

Yeah and you fuckers complain?

I can't have anything semi automatic anything all gotta be manually operated

Nothing

Not allowed

Ever since the 1997 handgun ban not allowed any handgun unless got very explicit license like I have, even then only allowed 4

2 high and 2 low caliber

Oh but shotguns are a different class of weapon you see so you're allowed a semi automatic shotgun

Not an AR or AK but can have a Saiga 12

Our firearms laws from the home office are made by people who've never seen a gun nevermind fired one or have any understanding of how they function

No seriously they said at the start only allowed 2 handguns. Ok I'll get a desert eagle with all 3 barrels and magazines

357 44 and 50AE

3 guns in 1 effectively

Plus no limit on caliber

So long as its break bolt or lever action it could be as powerful as you want

Hell can own a elephant gun

But not a 1911 or a glock

Well I had a FN45 mainly because Ralph had one in and heard it was good (it's not that good) so had that and the desert eagle

Swapped the FN for the Walther PPQ M2 I have now which I like and the desert eagle kit for 2 other handguns

More into rifles than handguns only there for home defense really.

I like them alot just not as personal and customizable

And revolvers. If you've ever had to take 1 apart you'll know why I prefer semi automatics

You'd think it be easier but no it's not

Took me 30mins to strip that smith and Weston revolver no clue on which one not a revolver fsn

But I could've stripped cleaned oiled and reassembled 20 1911s in half an hour

Think this one was a G frame think called

1911 have in states probably easiest I can think of

That or bolt actions since hardly any moving parts really

Sure if you take the bolt apart but long as the spring is working and pins in ok condition it'll be fine
