As a Norwegian looking into USA, it feels really strange how things are like. I find it scary how much hate and divided people are. They rather vote for the pure hatred of 1 person/president instead of what they will change nationwide

One change i notice really well is the value of the American dollar

Like when obama was president for 8 years, 1 dollar gave you 5NOK, now that Trump has been in charge 1 dollar give you 11NON

Meaning that the dollar is worth twice as much more than just 8 years ago

I was also shocked when an American worked at the garage i was, and he accidentally sliced his finger off, and he refused to let us take him to the hospital. And he was shocked that he didn't have pay anything for the 5day stay at hospital after he got his finger sown back on

In Norway you don't need to be a citizen to get medial help. Medical, medicine, schools etc is all free

Or rather our taxes or the Oil Fund pays for everything

On my salary, taxes is 30%

So if i am to be paid 30000Nok, i get paid out 25000 in full

I work at a toyota dealership as a detailer and tyrefitter, and i earn 24.6$ an hour

But our prices of living is also high. Give me a few examples and i can compare.

Like 1 liter of milk costs 2$

1 liter gasoline 1.8$

A standard Ford Mustang is 70-90.000$

With how divided Republicans and democrats seem to be, would it not be better to divide the states into 25 for each xD

I really think if religion and politics are removed, people would become more sane

Even in Norway which only have like less than 5 million inhabitants, blacks/africans committ more murder and such more than others but I still dont look down on a black person.

As a Norwegian, i dont look at the iron cross or even the swastika as hate. Even the swastika has more often been looked at as a peaceful symbol. It's just the German naziparty that made people instantly associate it with evil

And I am even fine with things that is making me remember bad things as i dont want to forget, which can make people repeat the same mistakes down the line

I don't like any ideology that wants to look down or direct hatred towards others who share their view

All i know the world has almost 9 billion inhabitants, there will always be people who look at others with hate and such for no valid reasons

If any Americans need a safe place to live if the elections spark another civil war, Norway seems to need more people. I think we have gone from 4.7 to 5.7 but down again to 5.2

My normal parties of choice are Fremskrittspartiet or Høyre. Fremskrittspartiet means ProgressParty in a poorly translated and Høyre is Right

Norway has similar dirt throwing at the various parties

And all the parties lie out their asses to get votes and if win , they do everything the opposite of what they promises

The biggest drama now among the citizens and government are the building of windmill power plants that wrecks Norways nature landscape

The last big drama was immigration when Anders behring Breivik blew up a government building in Oslo and went to an island where a political youth party was gathered and shot 77 kids age 13-17
