This isn't surprising. I work with a bank and my department communicates with both the customer and armored carrier. Training is a laugh with some of the armored branches. My department is constantly amazed at the lack of attention paid to such an important role in cash logistics.

I am only posing the question as I hear from some in my small circle that say Sparkes worked for both England and the US and has MI6 and CIA connections and it's a "family business".
