I was in a twitter debate about a woman's right to own a gun https://twitter.com/ToniHargis/status/1049642553811853313 and it occurred to me that no one asked Dr. Ford whether she owns a gun. You'd think that someone who feels the need to have a 2nd front door for safety would also want to be able to defend herself.

I think the #ProChoice crowd should also be defendinfg a woman's right to choose to carry a weapon.

If cities want to ban guns, only ban them for men. Defend a woman's right to choose.

It'd still be an improvement.

Right now women are being disarmed by law. Improve that, things get better.

I think worrying that people will use pretending to be trans as an excuse to carry a gun to commit a crime is a bit silly. They intend to commit a crime. Why would they obey this rule?

@Scribblehatch But you don't even have to take it that far. You don't have to solve everything. Letting women arm themselves is progress.

Gun ownership is not for everyone. But every woman deserves the choice. I think 2A women should infiltrate the #ProChoice ranks. Would make for some interesting TV.

@GingaBomber In many cities, gun ownership is restricted. And women are disarmed as a result.
