> The united states started out as a classical liberal nation, more like modern libertarianism
@KekFromKekistan literally not true retard. Articles of confederation were somewhat like that from 1781-1789 but the founders and the federalists specifically were reactionaries against that libertarian larp, abolished it, and formed the constitutional authoritarian republic which had no democracy in anything except the House of Representatives. The republic was to be run by an aristocracy, which it was. The electoral college decided Pres, senators were appointed by state legislators, supreme court was nominated by Pres and approved by the aristocratic senators and there for life. Only house Of rep had direct democracy and only white male citizens could vote. In terms of authoritarian, the federalist govt established in 1788 with the federalist papers and the constitution was exactly about establishing a strong state to raise a national army, tax the nation and tariff industry and trade to pay national debts, create a national consciousness, and be supreme over any one of the individual states. Your โclassical liberalismโ larp is a completely propagandized view of the founding of America from 1788 on.
Read David hacket fishers book albionโs seed or Sidney fisherโs book The true history of the American revolution. The founding of America wasnโt the leftist โpursuit of democracyโ or โegalitarianismโ nor was it the libertarian โfounding of a small govt classically liberal utopiaโ lmaooooo just Bc todayโs elites push that on the youth doesnโt make it true. Washington Adams John jay and especially Alexander Hamilton were authoritarian republicans, and almost all of the founders were aristocrats that hated democracy and reacted against weak central govt of the articles of confederation to found a more aristocratic authoritarian republic. They believed in order over liberty, a la Edmund Burke. Thomas Jefferson and some of the anti federalists/democratic republicans had a more liberty above all understanding and were more in line the French Revolution, but even Jefferson when president he did the Louisiana purchase as an authoritarian executive of the federal govt and James Madison (co founder of the party) saw the weakness of a nation with a weak central authority and created the second national bank of the United States. They were authoritarian republicans, not libertarians. And all of them believed in aristocracy, or rule of the best, over democracy or even democratic republicanism. Stay mad tho
Or watch this video https://youtu.be/oghGHgNElgY
Just Bc you were told by retarded high school history teachers or Ben Shapiro that we were founded as a libertarian state doesnโt make it true lmaooo for over a century and a half we were an authoritarian republic with little democracy or libertarianism. Ask Hamilton (who established our protectionist and interventionist economic system called โthe American systemโ or ask Abraham Lincoln almost a century later who was a completely based authoritarian). Part of our subversion in the past century has been to change and corrupt our state to make it more democratic (we now have direct election of senators, the electoral college is being called for abolishment, and even today our Supreme Court is being called for expanse or voting) and our economics are more libertarian than in the 1700-1800-early 1900s (besides trump with his based tariffs which is a good thing btw and his ending of free trade deals, another good thing). We need to return to what our founders and subsequent generations of American leaders had for this country, authoritarianism, aristocracy over democracy, and republicanism (in its 1700s sense) over democracy. Plus they were Christian nationalists as well so we need to return to the Christian laws and morality that they had endowed into the state. Fuck leftism fuck libertarianism fuck โsmall govtโ weak states
how....
susan and AF countersignallers love seeing great events and rallies being thrown off the internet...so gay
@Arawn 'the united states was founded as a libertarian state' lmaoooo^^
yeah
"The united states started out as a classical liberal nation, more like modern libertarianism
Whether you like that or not is up to you, but we were never an authoritarian republic"
absolutely crings and bluepilled
exactly
nibbaz be thinking we're still living under the articles of confederation lmaooo
more like the farticles
