there is no such thing as moderate today. i'm in canada where being a libertarian minarchist gets you called fascist and has antifa threaten you and your family.

thats awesome. i'm in toronto which is pretty much just trans gender activists and soy boys. saving up to buy property where people aren't openly advocating socialism.

you are correct

toronto is actually very nice aside from the insane people

i have been looking into colorado where my cousin lives. but not denver/ boulder more like near wyoming but close enough to steamboat for the season pass to makesense

it won't happen

if maxime bernier were leader of the conservatives maybe, but andrew sheer is pathetic

canada still has a strong tradition of classical liberalism, the problem is they get dismissed as neocons by the media

its always framed as the kind gentle "liberals" vs the evil hateful cheap warrior conservatives

in canada the last liberal member of the libearl party was wilfrid laurier like a hundred years ago, ironically the school lindsay sheppard attends is named after him, ever since its been new school dewey disciples and frankfurt school disciples

the progressivism is so strong tho

since 2016 i've lost 3/4 of friends because im anti trudeau and lukewarm on trump.\

i started covering free speech events in toronto and was posting vids of antifa attacking people and progressives being retarded and i literally started geting blocked and deleted enmasse. becasue i was "hatefu"

people i had known since i was twelve

๐Ÿ˜ฆ

dating in toronto as a conservative is hilarious btw

i didn't spout my ideas aside from anti communism

i have yet to meet a conservative, woman. i';m not even really a social conservative. but thinking there are issues with socialized medicine and the welfare state, will drive progressives up a wall.

i have not once brought uop politics aside from maybe philosophy in an abstract sense.

the red pill is real

yup i studied global studies with a focus on global economics and journalism afterwards, so i'm like the most detail oriented argumentative person when it comes to facts, so i always try my best to avoid getting into those topics

i dated a girl in the entertainment industry a couple years ago. beautiful, christian, but super progressive. then she said trump was a fascist and i was like hmm, except... not.

well she said he was a fascist and i said, he wasn't and then i explained that really fascism is a tactic more than a political philosophy and a majority of fascist are on the left aside from franco and pinochette and apparently that made me an evil alt righter. its like my study of 20th century governments didn't give me expertise in political philosophy.

it actually kind of sucked because i earnestly wanted to explain the issue, but i was labelled as evil

i get that i do a lot of work in photography and videography and everyone i work with is hyper progressice

progressive

canadians rigft of trotsky are super fucked if you live in an urban center

depends on thier church of origin

thats progressives to a t

they think they are fighting the good fight but do not have the faculties to understand the scope the issues they prognosticate about

they think everyone who disagrees with their solutions is evil

even if your intentions in resolution are on the same levle

i honestly think part of it is laziness

it is hard to learn how to read information and look for and analyze data objectively, but its easy to follow a narrative which allows for positive cognitive reinforcement

insidee 20 ft id rather have a knife but thats just because i've listened to podcasts with navy seals

honestly in conversations with prorgessives, what i have gotten from the conversations is why woulnd't you simply comply until, the police arrive

ye let me comply with the rapist or murderer until the police that haven't been called arrive

i am pretty confident in close after training jiujitsu and muay thai but even with armed assailants its a differnet scenario

use you back to bsae off the ground, legs to the intestines, pull thier arm across your body and drives hands and elbows to the face for defence

well, weight on the ground, hands up to protest face is key

legs out to keep assailaint at range

yup, strong, jab goof leg kicks and jiu jitsu

i hated training muay thai but those legs kicks are brutal tools that give you a serious ranged advantage

on the ground 6 months of jiujitsu training will give you the edge over 90% of the population

bjj#1 or wrestling
muay thai #2
western boxing #3
kick boxing #4

yup when hands touch your body you are fighting life and death

it makes sense from those positions, but losing your footing dones't make sense, blocking advancements and forcing range with knee and takedown defense is a far better tactic than trying to shoot while pushing to stand u

of course

its a matter of where you are comfortable operating from

id draw way before someone shot a single leg on me if they out weighed me

like im very comfortable in a clinch or in guard but if i am armed you can't let someone get within draw distancve of your weapon

oh the videos make perfect sense

it just seems like a lack of situational awareness to a certain degeree

when someone shoots a takedown and your head is heading towards the ground that movement alone could kill you on a sidewalk

we dont' havew a lot of sidearms in canada so my perspective is a based on worst case scenario when guns are involved but, it is always smarter to use distance to your advantage

yup in canada it is always illgal to point a fire arm as someone

to use a firearm in self defenese is technically illegal

its illegal but a court can find that its justified

our laws are super wierd

very precedent based

civil courts are there own thing

which makes sense

i get that

the first one may be in self defense the 30th is agression

if you swap out clips you know whati'm sayin

its very weird in Canada though, the only people with handguns are those who illegally purchased them from primarily American drug dealers. so if you live in a major city your only defense is what you cna manage with your combat knowledge or you simply submit to a hardened criminal with a gun. both circumstances are fucking retarded

don't get me started on how cucked our cops are

in toronto there was a situation where a guy charged cops with a hammer and they shot him and our media was pretending like it was a civil rights case. i paid my way through school in construciton work, these fucktards had no idea the damagea hammer can do to a person

they actually were saying things like but how much of a threat was he really

i sent video of me hitting mellons with hammers to the news networks

its insane the cops use small calibre rounds too

like using a 9mm on these ass hats is the kindest thing ever

imagine they were walking around with deagles or magnums

this is very true.

i'm not a very good shot with pistols, because of a lack of experience, but you put a 30 odd 6 in my hand or a 10 gauge i'm going to get dinner

its just that they are incredibly hard to get in canada

long guns are relatively easy

i learned how to shoot a rifle when i was 8, only held a hand gun 3 times in my life

you need to prove a need for a pistol if you live in an urban center

thats hilarious to me. we banned the ar 15 here but with a restricted licence you can buy a barret 50 cal

you can shoot down a helicopter but you cant have a weapon to shoot a boar

but you can buy an m1 garand here with e basic level license

which is a higher calibre rifle more effetive at range than an ar 15

and also semi auto

ontairo

ontario

but our gun laws are mostly federal

with a couple exceptions

kind of

they don't have provincial regulations and most muncipalities don't have regulations

in ontario if i had a pistols and wanted to take it to the range i'd have to report it to the police and then give them my exact route, and if i deviated from that i could be charged for posession of an illegal firearm
