The way i see this, is that they are handicapping these people from the getgo by not giving them even the most basic tool to function in this country

but clearly many people disagree with me on that

you do and thats how my friend learned it the hard way

by annoying the shit out of english speaking people by constantly asking what words meant

But here is another example i always give to people

back in the 90s we had a large movement of eastern europeans coming in due to the whole balkan conflict

I dont recall anyone calling anyone racist for pointing out these people were disproportionally committing a huge amount of crime.
Hell even the police chief here was quoted saying "at least theyre so nice to solve their own problems" as a reference to all the murdering going on.
But everyone was sick of it.

We got the same thing today only on a much larger scale in terms of people coming in.
But now the reply is that when you point out how theyre disproportionally represented in the crime stats & jail population, you are called a racist and thats the end of the debate.
Theres just no looking into what is causing these problems, cops get told to stand down due to fear of things escalating whenever theres a confrontation and so on

The latter has a caveat tho*

Prolly the best one is a city south of me which is a liberal

he seems to have found a good recipe for dealing with these issues

it just depends on how big the cultural difference is and the language barrier i think

Thats what history does but the current mentality seems to think that history needs to be rewritten

Today we think of things that were held dear and were normal 50 years or so ago as reprehensible

But what people always do, and i dont think that will ever go away, is to think that NOW we reached the end point.

made one of the silliest comments about why the EU as it is, is a good idea

because when all these countries are united, they wont have a reason to fight eachother

I would be a hypocrit for demanding action against people calling for communism

most people here are disengaged from politics

if i had to go off what people say about politics in my day to day life and job

"whatever i vote for, they just keep doing whatever the hell they want"

and these are people from across the board

they talk about it sure, but actual engagement? not so much
