In the article, it says this happened in a school in Colorado Springs, however, I cant find the story on any local news sites, like
https://www.kktv.com/ (local news network for Colorado Springs and other areas)
https://www.krdo.com/ (another local news network for Colorado Springs and other areas)

tbh, if the only source is from some politically motivated news site, I'm pretty skeptical on whether this 100% factual

Good point, I'm not denying that anything in the article didn't happen I just like to have some skepticism with most news stories, its just I would expect local news sites to report first since they cover local issues.

how do the current sources support the kid being innocent? I don't quite understand, is it because local news sources avoid these stories, or are biased in some way?
