I believe the universe is falling to entropy, and purpose in life is found by defying entropy for as long as possible?

Entropy being the tendancy of ordered systems to fall into disorder.

I believe that the universe is dying/will die due to entropy, so, I spend my life trying to prevent a complete failure within my lifetime... In short, I try to find purpose by defying the universe, and maintaining some order within the system.

I know it will roll over me, so I fight it as long as I can.

Not all belief needs to be explained.

I believe that it is my purpose, if you will, the calling of my heart.

I mostly fix machines.

And yet, as a human, I must find a purpose to justify my existence to myself.

To do otherwise, is to risk deciding that 'all is vanity', and ending my suffering as quickly as possible.
