From the literature I have read. Most of what I do is teaching people the court system and how to have a rational understanding of the process in relation to their charges. or CBT in relation to psychosis (i.e. schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, and bipolar I disorder. which is changing thinking patterns that lead to emotional/behavior patterns that are maladaptive and not helpful to them.
