No, I'm not. I'm here to have honest discussion.
Have you guys thought about maybe adding some vetting process?
Might help keep trolls out
How do you guys feel about immigration, legal or otherwise?
Do you think it should be what we have now, less, or none at all?
Have you considered how they vote or how much welfare they're willing to use? Many of them vote democrat, plus they're going into texas which is a big state for Republicans right now. But with the rate of Democrat voting Mexican immigrants going into Texas, it has been slowly turning blue. If it goes blue it'll be hard for us to win elections. On top of that, immigrants cost us a lot of money, because they use a lot more welfare services than born Americans do. Plus their children and their children's children are more likely to do the same.
I don't think we can cut welfare spending until immigration is scaled back by a lot.
Plus it's better, I think for us to strengthen our borders, since it really puts America first. That's probably the most important thing to me. We're all Americans, we all love our country, and we should all be willing to put its interests above our own personal desires. But since our nation is made up of our people, we should be willing to help each other out as Americans. What do you think?
That's the biggest thing that got me into Trump. I got sick of coward politicians selling America out to foreign interests.
I agree completely.
What do you guys think about foreign policy? Specifically, Trump's military action in Syria
That's the biggest thing I was iffy on. Real or not I just don't think we should be attacking foreign countries in the middle of a civil war.
I don't think they will, and they haven't. I just think Assad is better than the alternative. He's been taking care of ISIS, plus he's a secular leader who protects Christians. He may be a dictator, but better than a terrorist state imo
Cool
So are you a Christian?
I say nationalist
I guess one way to put it is we want a strong, unified America. We need a people who are patriotic and share our culture, our values, etc. This means that we need to hold on to everything that makes our country unified and strong, and do away with the harmful aspects. There are many beneficial members to this country regardless of race, and there are a lot of people of all races holding us back. We want everyone who is here to contribute to the betterment of this country, and to devote themselves to something greater than themselves. It'll build them up as people as opposed to the selfish liberals who do nothing yet still demand everything. We just realize that races are different from one another, and having cultures, races and the like mix up, it desroys the unique beauty of each race. We love our race and our people, but we don't hate others simply for being of a different race. Every race deserves a homeland, has a destiny, a history, and a future. We can encourage each race to be built up without being mixed together, as forced multiculturalism doesn't build up, it destroys.
There are also other brands of nationalism too. Such as cultural nationalism, which defines the nation on the basis of culture, religious nationalism, which does the same but in terms of religion, etc. I'd consider myself a cultural nationalist. I know there isn't one united American culture as of right now, but there should be. And I think that such a culture should favor duty, discipline, self-sacrifice, and traditional Christianity (as opposed to the new age hippie Christianity that modernists preach)
And I realize that once this new culture is established. It will be exclusively American as it should be, and foreigners will have a hard time comprehending it. This is alright though, since we're American and they're not. It would be like a British person trying to understand Chinese culture. Or vice versa.
In the United States? Or Christendom in general. If the former, I disagree but if the latter, I agree. I do not favor all Western christians to unite as one "nation" though. That wouldn't work and it would destroy the many aspects of western nations that make them what they are. I do favor all American christians to unite as a nation, though; centered around english as a common language, and the newfound American culture as a common culture.
Yeah, that's why I'm not a religious nationalist. I'm also not an ethnonationalist, nor am I a civic nationalist. I'm a cultural nationalist, but I do acknowledge that certain people are more willing to embrace particular cultures than others. Therefore membership in the nation is not open to everyone, but only well integrated people born within our borders who accept the culture.
