then I heard about people posting personal info on there and sharing with their friends, which raised a red flag for me

I couldn't believe they would share that on a social network that really doesn't have privacy, despite their fake settings for "making it private"

then less than 5 years later, or even 3 years later, I'm hearing horror stories bout kids in school being cyber-bullied so bad that they're hanging themselves in closets b/c they won't tell their parents about it

it's way worse than the bullying I experienced in school, because now kids have strangers of all ages from around the world joining in on the bullying, not just the creeps within the sphere of their school

I think it was around that time I though "Okay, I'm not gonna be part of something that allows cyber-bullying on that level. Count me out."
