If the surgeon doing surgery on me to remove a cancerous tumor, I want the person who was best qualified for the job

I want to not die on the operating table

But now, the white male doctor who's top of his class has a very real chance of not getting hired at my local hospital in favor of that hospital trying to meet a diversity quota

The whole point of not judging a person by the color of their skin is exactly that

And I still stand by that. I judge people by the content of their character
