I would make the process very difficult to achieve (Congressional approval of both chambers, presidential approval, and SC majority), and have a time requirement before a former state can come back to the Union again.

That way it ensures that the states may not always get what they want to be a free nation, and shows the consequences of leaving the U.S. by having the time requirement.

Not really. It would disincentivize people from working toward higher potentials, and it would inevitably raise prices on goods in long term. I know Milton Friedman advocated something similar in the 1970s and 80s, called the Negative Income Tax. From some observations, it would have most likely had the same issues as the UBI, and is more of a radical, libertarian way of reforming taxation.

I don't know if it was a coordinate effort by anyone, but it's certainly a gold mine for the media, its heads, and the Democratic candidates. It provides talking points and political activism that would further their agenda of demonizing gun owners and organizations, and pull attention away from other real things going on in the country (i.e. Epstein, as Pepe already mentioned).

Mine sounds very stupid, but my country would be a restored Holy Roman Empire that would encompass Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and Austria. It would be split up into 10-15 states (like the U.S.), elect representatives for each, an elected Kaiser by the representatives for life, and a hereditary kingship at the head (HR Emporer). How do I do it?; possibly disolve the European Union, and form a confederation of the previously mentioned countries. Then I would slowly build upon the confederation and trust between the countries, until it becomes the HRE I envision.

Also to note, having 10-15 states is a better solution compared to the management of the 100s of duchies, bisphorics, and free cities of the original HRE.

@Calzilla I've heard that "the Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich" is pretty good in terms of historicity, and it covers some parts of the German Empire, but mainly focuses on the 1920s Germany with the popular rise of the NSDAP.
