haha, I like how the Irish are way over-precented in race mixing
basically what you'd expect, since they're themselves pretty low status
and thus would be more likely to get together with other people of low status
the core of the French polity are the Franks, which are a German people
some of those examples above look more like faelids
particularly this guy https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/634367565304561675/676014996999634964/unknown.png
just fight against the power of the government, they won't replace you with more loyal subjects
the central authority would definitely not move in foreign populations that would be loyal to them
because the state is an organism that wants to keep its power, and will attack anyone threatening their power
it's ironically Libertarians like you that are the worst offenders
Libertarians, and Liberalism broadly, are the reason that the elites see it necessary to attack their own populations
delusions of secession and self-sovereignty, is what's causing this
no, the elites aren't 'liberal', they're what they need to be to stay in power
if the situation was different, they'd be 'something different'
well, I am getting 'attack' exactly because of guys like you, that are forcing their hands to move in these foreign populations
the elites in power would use other tools, like they already are, through things like NGO's
can we have the Propertarian guy in here again @Ed
how does Curt explain why AnCapism isn't possible again? @Ed
the industrial revolution just caused a massive expansion of the lower bloodlines of our society
well, the gist of his argument is that property norms, like all norms, are a public good that has to be centrally enforced
all property is public property, just with different amounts of autonomy delegated to it
the norm of property has to be enforced, and someone has to enforce it
it's been a while, but I used to be a Propertarian
the problem is that it's essentially just cutting edge Liberalism, it doesn't transcend it
like you were talking about before of small federal governments
where Israel's critique was poignant, in that they'd just seek to expand
I ultimately didn't rethink my position, I just went further than Curt is able to
the irony here is that Israel speaks about the state as if it's the doing of the Jews, when his entire ideology and world view was created by Jews
@Chawosaurian do you even realize that Jews like Rand, Mises, or Rothbard had they view they had, because they were a peripheral ethnic groups at the borderland of their empires, who weren't the creators of the society they lived in and it thus appeared to them that concepts like 'money', 'markets', and 'property' were just things that "spontaneously" sprung up from the ground, instead of being deliberate creations?
@virtue the irony is that the first markets were created by warlords, where they'd provide protection in return for taxation
centralized enforcement of norms lowers local transaction costs in return for global taxation
and here's the very very very short explanation:
