The more we test, the lower that death rate gets. Plus there are also a ton of reported COVID-19 deaths that are false upon further tests. Google it, you can find numerous reports about that. Even Italy said something like 88% (don’t quote me on that) of deaths were due to other factors and not necessarily the virus

can't rely on that data, we know China is lying and we know Italy's numbers are off too... so I don't find that data reliable

This does not mean that Covid-19 did not contribute to a patient's death, rather it demonstrates that Italy's fatality toll has surged as a large proportion of patients have underlying health conditions. Experts have also warned against making direct comparisons between countries due to discrepancies in testing.

yeah I know, I guess my point is that at that age and with having more morbidities, COVID is just the "next thing" that would hit these elderly. They could get pneumonia, the flu or anything else too that would do them in.

I don't mean to sound like I don't care or that it's still not sad... it's extremely sad, just a reality
