Well from their standpoint, Bloomberg is out there giving away $100s of million in advertising dollars, they probably want a slice of that and see this as two birds with one stone

This is a real problem because slowly MSM has clawed back attention from many of the far more truthful (depending on your perspective) alternative media outlets

Now my personal options are 1) exert more effort into figuring out ‘real’ news or 2) consume the MSM nonsense and not believe any of it anyway

It is even hard finding videos I want to watch on YT now

I search for something even close to news related and every suggested video is worthless MSM videos with no primary info

The old days of TD where the comments had real discussion were super helpful - All the facts with links you needed, videos, discussion, debate

In my opinion, peak TD was the 100 days or whatever it was of Wikileaks document dumps. Those comment threads were unbelievable

I was so early in TD that I was originally in the the one without the underscore

The value of TD was in the community curating the news vs accepting MSM fake news

Memes certainly have their place, but .win seems too meme saturated

Losing TD is a big problem for me personally as the comments section was usually a great place to get linked to primary sources relevant for current news

Now we have whitewashed MSM-tangent content on TD with basically no useful content in the comments
