goddamn these game references sure are pandering
I made a politics only Twitter account
"FINALLY! My Star Trek/socialist utopia fanfiction is complete!"
*presses "Send" by mistake*
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
But seriously I have a lot of screenshots of shit like this
Completely ignoring the elephant in the room, or should I say the donkey in the room.
I usually like to follow cartoon voiceover actors, but there are *quite a few* exceptions. And when I say quite a few, I mean there's a lot who I steer clear of.
pretty much
like when Eminem said "you can't be a fan of mine and a Trump supporter"
~~more like Feminem amirite~~
the hell is going on there?
Once I got bored and made this:
The "Escalade is better than Navigator" line is a reference to *Are We There Yet* which starred Ice Cube. He was driving a Lincoln Navigator in that movie.
THEY'RE ONTO US NILES!
I mentioned this on another server with that same picture, but Frasier and Niles specialize in the "tossed salad". They manage a weed farm off of I-90 outside of Spokane. On the farm, their customers refer to them as Sideshow Bob and Cecil respectively.
lol
I usually like to read The Onion's timeline but damn
Man shit, I KNEW I shouldn't have taken a nap when I got home this afternoon
I'm surprised it wasn't banned after saying something like "fuck gays"
was that last year or two years ago?
I heard that the taxes were being driven up even higher because of a new high speed rail line being built connecting LA to Fresno
I don't think I could ever live there. Too many libtards, plus high taxes, wildfires, earthquakes and the same climate year round. No thank you.
Listening to Crowder's livestream
Fun fact: he voiced the Brain in season 6 of *Arthur*
as someone with Asperger's I banged my head on the desk upon seeing this
so you let a mental disorder determine your beliefs rather than following your heart?
Potato Chipman indeed.
No thanks I'll walk instead
~~I just want the Rush in Rio DVD for Christmas~~
I saw a woodgrain kit for a Scion xB. Does that count?
"You know the Stone Age? Well, it was the Wood Age. Everything was made of wood back then."

a week ago my dad was talking about something similar, he was saying "if you're gonna immigrate here legally, you gotta learn to speak English."
Whenever I hear the word "cobbler" I always think of peach cobbler
my favorite dessert
https://twitter.com/Boogie2988/status/946872917521989632 Thoughts? I think he was making fun of those who spread lies and misinformation.
...okay?
https://twitter.com/TheBillyWest/status/946856804884946944 How about this? Smug or actually funny?
if it was the other way around, then Hillary Clinton would be Mom.
probably
I can actually do a good Zapp Brannigan impression
I read somewhere that he's based off of Shatner's character from Star Trek (I know nothing about Star Trek)
one time Billy West said "I based his voice off of those big dumb radio DJs from the 1950s" but I think he was supposed to sound like Lionel Hutz from the Simpsons.
Supposedly Phil Hartman was intended to voice him but he died in 1996
he even looks like Lionel Hutz as well but his hair/skin are the opposite colors
yeah, especially the way he stands with his legs outwards
I've never been into it, my dad however loves it
Orville was basically Seth MacFarlane's dream, to reboot Star Trek
if I could make the TV show of my dreams it would be a MadTV reboot but better
I've always liked it better than SNL
I discovered it in 2008 when my sister showed me some Miss Swan sketches as well as the Pizza Hut one and the Bon Qui Qui one
that guy on the left
If he wasn't standing at that angle I'd just assume he's going "hot damn"
but it looks like something else
oh
the guy who wants to "rid Tweeter of the Nazis" or some shit?
He has a growing list of people he's blocked
I just thought he was some guy who was really into comics
at least that's the vibe I picked up when I first heard of him (which was that one Big Bang Theory episode where he plays some sort of card game against Sheldon)
I used to watch that show with my dad, that's how I've seen a lot of episodes
I used to be a huge fan of it, then I branched out and started watching other sitcoms like Seinfeld (which I also used to watch with my dad a lot)
And you sure as hell can't wish him out of the White House, Timmy Turner!
I hear their money is so worthless that they have to weigh it on scales
But you know, not real communism
Stalin killed over 20 million of his own people.
But you know, not real communism
oh
earlier today I was reading about the end of the Soviet Union after watching a video of some guy reviewing a Trabant
an awful car made by East Germans
it looks like the cars you see driving around Paris in the movie *Ratatouille*
"If my awful-er I mean well built Lada doesn't start up, I can't go to work, and that means I get sent to ze GULAG!"
https://twitter.com/MattBaume/status/947247154891862016 What the hell does circumcision have to do with going to the movies?
Andy Kaufman?
It's a reference to the REM song "Man on the Moon"
There's nothing out there to see
Nothing as cool
Right now I'm listening to some Rush concert bootlegs
this one was recorded at the Hollywood Bowl in July 2007
When I bought some old NASCAR video games a few years ago, those got me into 2000s metal. This is back when that kind of music was associated with NASCAR and not country
Just yesterday I listened to REM's "Murmur" for the first time. I started listening to their albums on Google Play almost a year ago, but stopped around "Up" because I didn't like the sound of it. It was different from their other albums, that made me feel like a truck driver on a long road trip
back in the early 2000s
Back when I was 7, I got NASCAR 2005 for Christmas, which had a lot of that kind of music in the game's soundtrack. I listen to that and the NFS Hot Pursuit 2 soundtrack whenever I play those old NASCAR games now.
I've never watched wrestling
but I've at least heard of John Cena, The Rock, Paul Heyman, etc
Nah, I was born in 1999
nyes
why was the name changed?
Ah, the World Wildlife Fund
I knew those initials sounded familiar
I can at least tell you that the Pontiac Silverdome hosted WrestleMania in 1987, that's only from me researching abandoned buildings
I've at least seen interviews with Randy Savage in them. I don't see how he could keep a straight face while doing them
My lower back just popped
yeah, it's because of this upper respiratory infection where I've also had body aches as a side effect of them
I went to the doctor today and got a shot for them
hopefully I'll finally be better tomorrow
yeah
