anyone here really well read on Mussolini?

I need some links on the details of his policies and redpill info. I'm doing a podcast on him this week and I'm trying to find really good unknown information about him.

We just had the idea of doing a strong look at him because he's kinda obscure. Everyone knows about Hitler but the other fascist states are kinda lost in the history books.

The relationship between Mussolini and Hitler fucked both of them in my opinion.

He pissed away tons of money, soldiers, resources, everything to keep bailing him out and saving his ass even after Mussolini was a dick and was clearly distrusting of Hitler.

I mean, Hitler did kill Mussolini's good friend Dollfuss for almost no reason.

He wanted Austria to be enveloped as part of the fatherland.

Pretty much, Dollfuss refused to join the reich. He wanted to do his own thing. So Hitler or someone within the reich staged a coup and shot him in the face.

I believed they tried to shoot him 3 times and survived being shot twice.

Dollfuss was a tough little bastard.

Obviously, Hitler at least respected little Austria because he didn't just march in like elsewhere. Despite being a tiny little state, Dollfuss built quite the formidable little regime.

Apparently though, Hitler didn't give the order. Goebbels letters to his associates said that he was with Hitler the entire time and didn't know anything about it. He also said he never heard anything but positive sentiments from Hitler about Dollfuss.

So, who knows what actually happened.
