*Frankly the concern is that based on your presupposition of newer = better, than you either struggle with dedication to your position as manager (and may either nag for promotions or raises mercillessly as a result) or that you are not responsible for the long term upkeep of newly acquired goods. To be even more frank, the fact that you judge people based on their physical appearance rather than the content of their character and the upkeep of said older, more antiquated goods and services, has confirmed that you are indeed a materialistic, insecure, self centered, manipulative narcissist that could not, and would not be bothered care about their workers; unless you were placed in a setting of which would associate you WITH your workers, hence the acts of micromanagement*
