An asexually reproducing human would basically be a woman with some more masculine features to make up for the lack of a second sex who could get spontaneously pregnant. Penis would be entirely pointless.

It's basic genetics. The idea of bloodlines was basically correct and the monarch will have kin in the game.

Everything is heritable. And monarch doesn't do much in terms of leadership unless there's a war on, he's more of a fail-safe.
