That makes my heart hurt @Grayzilla
That was a very intense statement.
But for why?
I happen to be a big fan of the Pacific Northwest myself.
Naps are the best
I wish my kid would nap
The east coast imo is fun to visit. There's a lot going on out there. I understand the appeal. I just have too much anxiety to particularly enjoy living there for long periods of time. That's just me.
Now that's a pizza pocket.
I'm stuffing my face with combos
Yummm
Oh man. I was gonna share my lemon drizzle dragon cake but oh well
I made quiche tonight.
Told my kid it was broccoli pie. He devoured it.
I think my kid is broken though. Will only eat ketchup on apples.
I suppose it's like a fruit salad. But idk. It's odd.
Pro-pain and pro-pain accessories
Oregon is seeing snow. Anyone else get a random burst of snow *in spring*?
Noooooo
Mario
Y so sad?
My heart meats can't handle it
It's overwhelming with so many people flooding stores. Just remember to ground yourself.
There have been a lot of things in my personal life over the last few months that have my anxiety already topping the charts. However this whole pandemic thing just compounds it all.
I concur
Well in all honesty the warnings and self quarantine things are mostly to slow spread, sure, it likely won't kill you, but hospitals only have so many beds and so many doctors, nurses machines, etc. Since covid-19 spreads quickly, it could mean a huge influx of people seeking treatment and overloading the healthcare system if we don't take measures to slow the spread of the illness.
Nobody should panic. All these measures are just to make sure people can get help they need when/if they need it.
It is human nature to panic when things don't go well. But the more we are aware of ourselves and our actions, the easier this pandemic will be.
Yeah media definitely isn't helping.
Stress responses. They're lovely aren't they?
I'm sorry, I wasn't meaning to.rant, however I'll move the post
That is not a channel I can access it seems
Oh well
Was only trying to sympathize with my experiences
Either way, if anyone ever needs someone to.talk to because they're stressed my inbox is always open, I will always listen.
Nothing sexier than a nice river of egg yolk cascading down
I love a good Benedict
Is there anything that hollandaise can't make better?
Other than my cholesterol obviously
Gravlax
What's everyone's favorite comfort food?
Mine's mashed potatoes ๐คค
Mmmmm asparagus.... That's a good choice
I also enjoy a big bowl of Hungarian paprika mushroom soup
But has to be the hot stuff. Not the sweet stuff
I like the heat
Tteok ppoki is yummmm too
It's so good
Nice crusty bread, big bowl of spicy, creamy soup. Warms my heart meats just thinking of it.
I still have yet to see it.
How does one prove their patronship on the youtubes?
Am new pretty color ๐
Now I can share my lemon dragon drizzle
And my version of Paul Hollywood's tear and share Chelsea bun Christmas tree
If I could stay locked away cooking all the things forever, I would
I find inner peace chopping vegetables.
My first attempt at Osaka style okonomiyaki
My last apartment was next to an Asian food Mart, so I really dove into Korean and Japanese cuisine head first.
Oooooooooooh that looks yummy
Japchae ๐คค
This is the dish I make for potlucks and if I feel my kid isn't eating enough veggies.
Korean glass noodles changed my life
I gotta go wrangle a Dane please share more foods
I get the feeling you are a professional chef
Well you definitely know good food
Ho man that's a beautiful knife
The steak is beautiful too but that knife stole the show
๐คค ๐คค ๐คค
I'm a home cook myself. Everything I know I learned from watching way too many food shows.
My imperfect but still slightly captivating meringues
I make these as part of my Christmas gift boxes. I dip them in white chocolate and peppermint pieces
No meringue pies.
Pie dough is daunting
That has some serious Noma vibes going on
The placement of the "folliage" looks very Noma
Idk where you are located @Blaundee, but if you ever find yourself in the Portland metro area of Oregon, do hit me up, I'd love to cook for you and really have a good food chat with someone who seems to really enjoy cuisine as much as I do.
I'm no professional, my food is severely lacking in the presentation department, but I do know flavors well and can definitely make mouths happy
Case in point, my version of tteok-ppoki. Not pretty but you betcher bottom dollar it's delicious.
Yep!
In a spicy gochujang sauce
It's normally a street food snack, but I add pork belly and veggies to mine to make a more rounded meal of it
Sometimes you just crave lava doused rice cakes.
My freezer is stocked with dried anchovies and I always have kombu in my pantry just so I can make dashi.
Shrimp and grits and collard greens
My hubby is from Georgia and he was pleasantly surprised when I knocked out a solid rendition of these having never tried them before. "Reminds him of Nana"
Best pork loin I've ever made. With sauteed bacon and green beans and cheesey broccoli rice
๐คค ๐คค ๐คค ๐คค
Is that butter lettuce??
Whomever created that is definitely a genius. That's gonna keep the bottom bun from getting soggy
Pavlova and macerated berries. My go to when I have surprise guests and need to whip up a nice dessert.
Treats I made for a ladies night in a few years ago
I do not work no.
It's a hobby
Thank you, I truly wanted to be a chef, but I came to be in a time where true food geniuses abound.
The market was flooded
No, I'm a one trick pony. I'm good at things but not business smart.
I can cook well, I can sing well, but neither of these things alone will make for success for me.
And that's okay, they can be hobbies.
I'm studying library sciences and Archiving right now. That's what I'm making my career choice.
