the "libertarian" hake had on last week was the final nail in the coffin for the libertarian party for me, its been taken over by pseudo-anarchists who are no better than the anarcho-communists. they want a stateless utopia that will literally never exist because any nation/group of people who forgo/surrender their collective/federalized power will just create a power vaccuum that will be replaced by one of the other still-existing states/nations/corporations. an anarchist utopia cannot/will not exist unless literally EVERYBODY in the world agrees, if any group of people disagree, and group up, they will eventually overcome all the individuals. while classic libertarian ideas are great, in theory, they have to be tempered with some amount of collectivism, ideally *just enough* to protect the individualism, or be swamped by worse, more totalitarian collectvists. RIP libertarianism.
