it _might_ be a coincidence, but it seems to me that the countries that are not completely fucked are majority christian

I'm not willing to assert this, but I do know that the likes of Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Botswana, they're majority christian and have been stable democracies for longer than others that I can remember off the top of my head

there's also senegal, which is considered stable, but it's like 99% muslim, and oil is their biggest slice of GDP

the other countries are only majority christian, but always "diverse" in their population, and senegal is not diverse at all
