Went down to Long Island to visit grandparents, took an hour walk on Jones Beach, inhaled a good ass amount of salt in the air

I've been to a lot of "special places", I guess, but nowhere in the Southeast really. Usually during the summers I've gone out west.

They're all beautiful. Colorado is strange because you can go out there in the summer and you just get high enough elevation and you gotta start thinking about jackets and stuff

But the great thing about the west is on average the humidity is super low, unlike the east

They're really beautiful thought once you get past the name. Full of glacial melts and everything.

I remember road biking out there and you can go straight for miles with nothing but flatland with sagebrush on one side and almost vertical-looking mountains on the other.

And then there's Yellowstone with the geysers and the steam vents and mudpots, where everything is really cloudy and there are rainbow bacteria pools and it smells like literal hell because of all the sulfur
