Hey, would you guys recommend flashing or rooting a redmi 4a to get rid of the bloaty stock rom?

I asked in the /csg/ thread because I have literally no idea what to do here, whether I should stick with the phone as it is (stock) or try to set up a new OS

I honestly don't know, I'm just afraid to permanently brick my phone or something

But since i'm completely clueless in that regard (its my first android device ever), that could be unjustified
