no not really, i haven't experienced much racism at all

im 6'3 however and have a pretty intimidating face

im conversational level but my vocab is lacking so a lot of the time i have to translate/look shit up

kanji is fun, but my kanji process has been pretty lacking as of late

between school, 2 jobs and focusing on nailing my speech capabilities i don't have a lot of time to study kanji

If I cut out recreation time a lot I'd have time for kanji but it'd be draining

and typically my voice gets higher when im actively trying to speak more naturally

low voices aren't really a thing in japanese, and often times japanese people will have a hard time understanding me if I keep my voice at its natural tenor

kanji is difficult tho

but i love kanji so much

my favourite part of the language

so it's essentially like "the axe cut down the tree, and above the tree you have another "new" tree "standing"

I paid about 3.8k AUD for mine, so probably about 3k USD

But my government paid me and then also paid for it

so im fine
