I had the pentium 3 out of the first server I killed on my keys.

It broke off eventually.

Was old enough that it didn't have a heat spreader

I found the best way was to just get a file.

Basically it just bends them back and forth until the pins break off. Then the file makes it clean and doesn't catch on your trousers or bag or w/e
