Yeah it has memory wire + shielding plastic so its good on that front.
But the braid will require extra care e.g not a "throw it in the bag" cable but im fine with that

Cables are all about the looks in my opinion so you'll have to decide how you want to look without getting baited by snake oil like "oxygenized ions" or something

This mmcx connector is really good if you are someone who suffers from loose mmcx connections (I was using a milimeter sized paper against that) or someone who plugs in and out very often. It doesn't have the spinning circle and instead it has a tiny bump like the ones on the bottom of micro usb plugs.

I never remove it either but its good to have options.

I think not having a memory wire feels better but I'll try memory wire for a month at least before deciding.
