Like, when I first heard about Israel in school, I had this childish idea that it would be this country that a persecuted group escaped to for safety. I never really thought about what would happen after. Later I found out Israel is extremely militaristic.

And now the other countries not liking Israel makes sense to me. I had an Arabic friend who was extremely verbal about her hatred of Israel. She went off on me because she didn't understand that I didn't understand what Israel was doing

But it kind of makes sense how it happened. The jews were treated like crap by most places. Now they have their own country and are in charge so they do whatever they freaking want

And you can't really touch them because of what happened with Hitler. Being against Israel is seen as being anti-Semitic
