head into the settings, go to voice, and switch to push to talk (second option list)

then choose a hot-key and you should be able to speek when you hold that down

You need to set it. Open the settings, go to the voice place, click the (likely blank) text box, hit a key (or combination) to setup push to talk

then you can use that specific key (the one you hit when you pressed on the white box) to talk

yeah that's pretty accurate, they've had a long time to point to something, and failed to do so

they always say "it's a national security risk" when something they want quiet goes loud

just words to shut people up

Sure, you can explain why it happened, but it's not supposed to happen. I don't mean to argue with you on that point, you clearly agree. But there's no other reason why the release presented a risk.
