How do you add to the call in list?
Thanks

Sorry I'm new to this app
Cool got it figured out. My dog is annoying me to death lately as well
One last new noob question. Are y'all watching the video stream of this (I've got it up on YouTube on my AppleTV); am wondering if people are just listening to the audio or something on here instead .
Yeah I figured heh
Cool. Wonder what software they're using to do the show. I've been using 2 badass new apps one called vMix which just upgraded with a new video interview feature up to 8 ppl
(Am a total video production nerd)
You'll be able to unmute when you're able to talk i suppose
The video Dave did on the restricted mode is great surprisingly the video that Keemstar from DramaAlert did a good video on it too
Why I said surprisingly
Mostly just him jacking other peoples work and amalgamating it into a new video
Haha
I'm working on a new video platform to help mitigate the problems with YouTube and patreon dependence
Based off of bit torrent central severless streaming
Specifically for video
I'm on minds, it's pretty good
You wouldn't know it was BitTorrent
Just uses the distribution technology to spread the bandwidth
Also helps ensure it stays online and cuts down costs for the initial growth necessary to attract a user base. Plus it'll pay out all monetization income directly other than operational costs and a negligible percentage fee
Heh I've been on the ethereum train for a long time
Old school DNM dork here
Yes
Especially in financial tech
GPUs way to go
I got into BTC when it was at 1.70 per
Block chain is essentially a ledger
Haha ha no but o know the article you're referencing
I still own a bjnch of physical bit coins
Yeah like a transaction ledger
Exactly
So while in essence it's anonymous and a lot of people like to think of it as bulletproof it's not 100% unless you take a LOT of precautions
Well blockchain tech has a TON of potential and other uses
It's legal but it's got a bad rap due to the fact it's highly associated with online drug markets on the dark net
And the federal government is against it in a lot of ways and give exchanges a hard time getting financial licenses to trade in btc
As it's a threat to the federal reserve
Since it's not a fair currency
Fiat*
Autocorrect
Haha
Basically means worthless
Like how the govt prints endless notes
Not banked by gold or any intrinsic value
Even if t were supposedly backed by gold it isn't you'd be better off getting physical gold
No
It's taxed
There ARE people who do illegal shit but it's gotten a lot harder
It's harder to get money OUT in large amounts
To do it
Yeah you gotta use tails, multiple vpns, tor
DNS masking, I would say that tot is definitely co@promised
Tor*
TAILS is a live image OS that runs completely without record
Well it was built by the govt
For military use
TOr
Tails is safe
Nah u gotta use both
Just gotta make sure the exit nodes on tor are safe
Always use pgp
Yeah exactly
Also make sure your vpns are safe not DNS leaking
Yeah keybase is good
I wouldn't use Canada unless for piracy
Lol
I use Iceland
And Switzerland
And some Eastern European non EU nations
Russia is good so is belarus
I run a bunch of connections chained thru each other
I ssh into my main box that is in Switzerland
Which has a dedicated Ip and I use ssh keys to log in
Then I use that to log into any number of additional ones
Then my Icelandic one which has arguably the best data protection laws anywhere
Well
Firstly it keeps my Icelandic box super safe
Set rules on the sshd daemon to only allow connections from my home static Ip and my Swiss Ip
Then the Icelandic one i installed a hyoervisor and use it as a virtual machine; which has the benefit of acting as a remote PC that I then plug in my thumb drive with TAILS on it and use it that way
If that makes sense
But yeah I take a lot of measures. I only use cold storage for my btc wallets. Single use wallets
Yup
Well I tend not to but BtC anymore really
Yup
No printers
Either that or I type up a plaintext file with the info and then encrypt the file and put it into an encrypted volume on an SD card
Yeah I was lucky to get in early
Was tempted to sell when btc got to 300, now it's over 11-1200
Estimated to go up to 10k eventually wouldn't be surprised if it does
Yup preev.com
Probably negligible
Didn't have much effect when they changed the transaction fees a whole back
Or the time table for a full block to be hashed
You weee in London?
Damn, right there by Patliament?
Just by chance? What'd you see?
Thats awful glad you're okay
They're ending the show soon
But if you're down to do an interview I've got a legit video live streamed show, I can even blur out faces and disguise voices if you're afraid of reprisal or being called racist since thats what happens in Europe today
