I don't really understand the differences between theism and deism.

So I seek advice. My cousin just inherited my grandfather's WW2 officer's sidearm, which I have been hoping to own for three decades. Colt 1911.

I've been putting off the purchase of a 1911, hoping to own my grandfather's, which saw quite a bit of action in the Pacific Theater. Now I guess I am going to go buy one.

Part of me is inclined to try and copy his gun as closely as possible, which would mean I'm buying a 45ACP Colt. But another part thinks that is stupid... it will never be his gun, only mine. So maybe I should go 9mm instead?
