I liked the Spider-man Deadpool book until Thompson took it over

the solo stuff I stopped reading when it changed teams

although I had a hard time getting into Deadpool from his older stuff

that aspect I think Gwenpool does better

sucks that got cancelled that book was really picking up

well there's no end for them so it's hard to really do character arcs

TV show adaptions can do that better

like Spectacular Spider-man they took elements from decades of Spidey stories and boiled it down to a core 2 seasons of excellence

also comics tend to go into the abstract and absurd very easily

they suffer from a lack of grounding just because of how big and weird the world is

Anime/Mangas tend to have more limited life spans than western comics

like 10 years or so for Bleach and Fairy Tail

200 years for One Piece

that being said Slott had Spidey for a good solid 10 years

a sort of Marvel Limited universe would be interesting, taking the basic elements and putting a finite end on them

it'd be interesting to see the writers have to stay in that sandbox and not bring people back to life or keep them going, see what they do to keep things progressing

yeah like Peter Parker dies after a good run and it's up to Miles to continue after

Cap dies in an Avengers mission and they have to move on without him

it'd force them to actually develop some of their secondary characters

they could just start with one of 2 books to trial it

since Bendis left and they've kind of hit the reset switch on all the All New All Different stuff

mileage varies but there's some decent stuff there

almost everything got reset the only things left is Thor being worthy but Jane has retired as Thor and they're slowly building to Thor getting Mjolnir back which is wise

even at the height of their "wokeness" there were some great books like Vision

that book actually got better over time

but it had a very rough start

War Thor was awesome

obvious what needs to happen, they need to remove that stigma make it even less illegal, encourage the spread of HIV with advertising that should fix it

the Ms Marvel run in I think 2007 was decent, had awesome artwork
