This is only pic of nonissued PC. When I get back I will have to grab pics of other stuff
I am not as arcane with the wizard gear as you gear youths. ๐

This weird scarf thing was actually way more useful than I thought it was going to be. Used it as a camo cover, pillow, blanket, TQ, and splint tie down
If you are trying to command the vehicle at night without NVGs its frustrating. Doable, but frustrating.
When looking out the hatch you have a better view of things and a better sense of depth. The CIV, FLIR, or DVE work great but prefer having eyes out there
Part of the reason for the shielding round the hatch on the BC's side is so he can look out with out getting ganked
You can see the shielding on the right side. Gunner can cover behind the Gunners sight
Germany, just for a training exercise over there
Flexing on Krauts
Training rotation through Belgium, Germany, Poland, and Bulgaria. Some people went to Romania and Georgia too.
5CR and some others. That pic is on a Bradley
Another piece of gear I didn't think much about, AWS Recon bag. Ended up replacing the assault bag with it a lot
Only bad thing is its a bit floppy and there are lots of straps
Didnt think much of the AWS till I really started moving around in it and it worked for me.
5CR sadly. It hurts everyday
Fort Hood, part of good old 1CD
They call my unit in particular the "Graveyard of Careers" cause of the retard high suicides, EBH, and retention rates
Ours was singled out after we had nearly a platoon's worth of drug cases, a gay sex ring, and "rampant" alchoholism leading to mandatory 2 week AA classes while in Europe
11B
I should have taken the ride to Westpoint or finished on through ROTC but decided I like my green weenie unlubed
Yeah bb ๐
Recently caused a 9 hour search for me and the boys after abandoning a training site
The problem was I came in too high speed so now that I want to sham I get all the assignments that are supposed to be above me. Its annoying, but now I have found a way to get the ones that keep me away from the company and around a computer or in a briefing room
Because of our retention rates NO one can move. I was playing medic for a dude who hit a women, fought with SNCOs, and then was cutting his arm open trying to kill himself because he couldn't take our unit anymore.
They moved him to a different platoon, refused to move him out of the unit or push it past a 15.
2-5 CAV
The amount of shit you see here is crazy. The amount of shit that goes unpunished even crazier
They recently wiped a good portion of our command with "promotions" to different commands, but most of us know the real reasons why many left. New BC, CSM, CO, 1SG, PLs
Since this last year, I personally know 5 suicide cases in just my company
@Cataclysmo You here too?
Our 1SG created a harem of short women in HQ, touched one of them, then got a higher level assignment a few months later
The harem is still going strong
Oh shit, and leave is even better
1. Guys Fiancee got raped. Can he meet her in the hospital? No must finish duty day
2. Guys preggo wife loses *all* their possesions in a house fire and is homeless. Can he go home? Yes, but only after we delay it over a week while trying to get him to stay and take care of it from here
3. Man's wife kills herself. Can he go home? Yes, after we delay it 2 weeks and try to convince him to stay. Oh, he has to come back right after the funeral too for our next FTX
4. Man's daughter kills herself. Can he go home? Yes, only after he finishes the FTX
His NCO released him and said if anyone asks, he was on a detail
@Cataclysmo HAHAHA
They weasle out of most of it via technicallity. They *did* get to go home, just, eventually. The MAJ at EBH hated our old CO with such a passion that he refused to be in the same room as him unless it was required
A PL near us built a 8ft hardwood privacy fence cause he was tired of bullets landing in his backyard
If you consider Killeen one?
@fredfuchs Better than chainlink fence I suppose
Good portion of my PLT live in Belton or Round Rock. I room with the lads in Belton cause I will never trust my firearms in the arms room after being armorer
Yeah, our arms in the arms room get fucked up cause they refuse our requisition forms for cages and holders. We had only 1 SAW in the whole Company working at one point
I saw some new dude stick his gucci AR in there and it was in a cage sitting on loose and rusted spare barrels
You guys ever hear LTC Swint's speeches? He used the same one about punching dudes in the face. We made a bingo game at one point with his most popular sayings. We only got one speech were no one go a bingo
The dudes rifle and the cage I pulled it out of
Gucci in the ironic sense, he thought it was the shit
Also had an AK in there too
Fighting Foodons represent
Or Zatch Bell! for a little more cool points
@fredfuchs "A weightlifting belt has two main purposes. It reduces stress on the lower back while the person is lifting in an upright position, and it prevents back hyperextension during overhead lifts. A belt reduces low back stress by compressing the contents of the abdominal cavity. This increases the intra-abdominal pressure (IAP), providing more support in front of the bones of the lower back. This allows the spinal erector muscles, which would normally provide this support of the lower back, to produce less force during the lift. Another benefit of increased IAP is a reduction in the amount of spinal shrinkage (lower back compression) a lifter may experience during circuit weight training.
The belt prevents back hyperextension by forming a rigid wall around the lower torso, connecting the rib cage to the hip. This not only limits back movement, but it also prevents sideward bending and twisting. A powerlifting-style belt that is the same width all the way around would be ideal for this purpose."
I was gonna type an answer, but this is the same answer in smart people talk
