What is so funny about religion being more honest than science?

@Abiss How can you say religion steals money when it has missions trips and churches being built with tithes. But certain government spending is unknown yet you pay taxes and do not question the officials which take them.

I am saying that when money is given charitably to a church it serves a purpose which is transparent and obvious. Besides meager pay for the pastor to live off of, even more meager if they have a family, all money donated goes towards growing the religion. The religion's leaders don't benefit from it.

The masses are uninformed on most issues, this is one reason for most problems in society continue to existing.
