With fractional reserve banking if you want to withdraw all your money for some reason, the major banks just don't have it and you will not get your money. Your money is just a myth at that point and useless to you.

Central banks, right now, only need a tiny fraction of cash on hand for a few withdrawals. They simply don't have the cash on hand to cover all withdrawals of all accounts. So some people put their money in silver. Who's going to have change for a $2000 one oz gold piece? No one, not for everyday items like food.

What about the pandemic bonds? When a bank issues bonds it's asking for a loan, and when an investor buys a bond the investor gets interest on the bond. So how do the pandemic bonds benefit the banks that issue them?

Do the issuing banks just default on the bonds and leave investors with worthless paper?

Ah, insurance, the same thing that happened in 2008-2009 that caused the recession. Anyone could take out insurance on bonds or whatever, even if they didn't own the asset, and when the economy tanked, everyone who bought insurance on those instruments got paid, and the paying banks who insured that stuff went under.

@MistyLynn There are reports of people getting well, after being tested positive for COVID-19, then they get sick again and again and again. So potentially, someone could be quarantined for months if they continually get positive test results. Yes I think it's panic buying myself. But since I've used leaves for TP I now for a fact I really really don't want to have to use leaves again.

But I'm not sure how viruses work. Once you get a virus with a given protein shell, you have antibodies for life, but do you have the virus for life at a low level? I don't know. So does the test look for the virus itself or just the antibodies? That is an important question. So chicken pox is a virus, and once you're over it you have "it" for life, and it can reemerge as shingles, a painful breakout of the skin.

The problem with the cold and flu viruses is the protein shell constantly changes so the body can no longer ID and fight a new variant of flu. And the coronavirus has similar genesto the flu that mutate the protein shell. Hence the concern about coronavirus.

A dry cough is not a productive cough and can be suppressed per my doctor.

If it's productive I don't suppress it.

@WildMan I'm talking about a very frequent cough every 4-5 minutes, non-stop 24/7 which is non-productive. That's what I started with and 3 weeks later it's a bit better, but still not gone.

I have garlic paste and probably some hot pepper sauce I can mix up and see what happens.

I find spicy red curry from a local thai restaurant to be very good against congestion in the chest or sinus.

@WildMan Yes I understand. I'm getting off the Advair now and will try your advice. I have a tea for "bronchial health" and I am trying that now. I just don't have a book on herbal remedies and there are so many out there I don't know which one to get.

@WildMan I agree with you. I'm not happy with my regular doctor. So I need to try something else. But I'm taking small steps right now and addressing primarily my gut bacteria and getting that back into good shape.
