We grow every year.
We are just a bunch of goons who like to larp, plain and simple, itโs fun, itโs different and it gets people away from their usual 9-5
So I started a tactical training group
Lots of live fire exercises, we train constantly.
Many of us are ex military. Iโm military as well
Agreed. We just do live fire. Bounding drills and such
Movement, breaking contact, radio frequencies
Yeah, we were trained by Uncle Sam, but we stay up to date
I recommend getting a boafeng UVR in general
Yeah, I throw coms and wires in my assault pack or on my chest rig depending on where it works best. Usually when Iโm setting up targets for alpine warfare training, we need targets at all distances
So the radios work well then
Just to confirm hits and distances
Hilariously enough, someone thought we were SWAT officers today when we peeled out of the tree line and onto the range
We just said, nah, weโre not cops and laughed it off
We all have formal military training so Iโm sure we are better off than most cops in most combat fields
We do tactical combat casualty care, IFAK/TQ training, urban combat, mountain warfare, and bounding to cover mainly
We also do off roading to get to the range haha
We have monthly trainings and annual FTXs now
Lol, keep the training
Hell yeah, that sounds excellent
You should get it going again
Then it sounds like you need to become motivated to mobilize. Get the hype up. At my gun store, Iโve found a way to work the crowd
I literally Recruit from people who buy things
I wonโt ask your location for security reasons. But there are ways, I remember when people laughed me down. Theyโd say โyeah? You and what group do you plan on doing tactical training with?! Youโre only one man!โ Now we have a tactical group that grows every year. New members always bring new things to expand it. How did this happen? Working the crowd. Talking with people. Not kidding.
I work in a tactical weapons store. So that helps hype the people up. Much like a rock band member hypes an audience
I met a few guys. Who knew guys, know knew guys. Who all liked guns and freedom
Itโs the truth. I just kept meeting people and inviting them
You talk in the right circles long enough. People want to do tactical training as a group
Before I knew it, I had guys more elite than me asking to join in the fun
You know whatโs major fun? Having workshops on things like uniform dying, AR building, 80%er milling. Parties even
People end up swapping gear and guns. Having a blast.
Just hit another PR, Iโve been training for years six days a week. I wasnโt able to run because of an injury and I pushed through. Last night Iโm pulling six minute miles again.
I trained all the way through my injury and made it to recovery.
They told me Iโd never run long distance again after my spinal injury. I now run long distance.
They told me Iโd never lift again, I now lift weights and train six days a week.
They told me I was too badly damaged to proceed without surgery, I healed myself with yoga, therapy and Chinese medicine
They told me Iโd never wear the uniform again. Yesterday I enlisted in a new branch.
Never, and I mean never give up, or give in, never retreat, fight on. You have the one life. Donโt let anything take that away from you including yourself
Iโm thinking about painting my alpha AK with brownells alumahyde gun finish. Most of the components are Bulgarian or russian. Itโs basically an AK104. Iโm a tactical shooter so itโs got thousands of rounds out of the pipe already
@mcguyver123 itโs an Arsenal SLR107 with the AK100 series side folding solid stock
Trijicon MRO, Bulgarian flash can, troy mlok extended rail, surefire scout mini
I really want to get something that lasts a long time, what are the russian special forces using to camo their guns
Itโs primarily to prevent rust and hide me well in an urban situation if there is mass civil unrest. I run my guns into the ground averaging 500 rounds a week at times. Weapons get banged around inside off road vehicles and slammed into the ground due to tactical drills. They usually end up wet, muddy or dusty
My nicest Daniel defense m4 has this Mil-Spec plus coating on it, but the arsenal AK still has the factory finish which of course has gotten beaten and scratched off
I just recently replaced the russian comp with a Bulgarian style flash can. The thing fireballs too much and giving away my position is unacceptable
I think some alpha AK camo would look super neat on my baby here. @mcguyver123
Surefire warcomp
Iโve thrown one on mine, great for clearing houses because you can throw a surefire flash can on it and toggle on and off
@mcguyver123 yep, alpha camo
If anyone is in Colorado, I work at a suppressor kiosk and can fix you up with a suppressor
Iโm thinking tan and OD green with patriot brown splotches
โ๐ปโ๐ปโ๐ปโ๐ป
Iโm serious, if anyone is in the Denver area I work on paperwork for most of Colorado.
I donโt have any experience with that particular can, but most of the guys I know love it to death and back.
The 2a community is very strong outside of denver. Lots of tactical shooters like myself who are interested in training.
Iโm in the military so thereโs lots of gun guys there too
Itโs strange, the center of Denver is almost has bad as California, as soon as you exit the city limits people are into it
The poverty is so extreme out here in some parts that basically everyone is looking for PSAs though
Itโs just extreme, outside of the city the culture is very right wing. Inside of Denver itโs an SJW hobo infested hellhole
Absolutely, electoral college FTW
Taking my arsenal for a spin at the range tonight with a new flash can and a surefire scout mini
Doing some low light drills
The wasteland is a muddy icy hellhole, in the dark you can get stuck quick. But itโs perfect to go all out with military gear
