Alright. Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved pickles

Her stepdad used to give her pickles every day as a snack

One day, right before bedtime, she asked for a pickle. Her stepdad said "No. You already had one today. Now time for bed"

In the middle of the night the stepdad woke to a large crashing sound coming from downstairs. The whole house should have been asleep, so naturally he jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs to confront the intruder and protect his family.

He turned on the lights and looked around. In the kitchen, surrounded by pickles, pickle juice, and shards of glass, was the little girl.

The stepdad started freaking out and telling the little girl not to move, scared she would step on some glass.

The little girl, having broken the jar due to being too weak to open it, looked at her stepdad, picked up a pickle, then went upstairs without a word.
