The reason why they have to do paperwork is to make the police department be more accountable and have the paperwork create more efficient processes and the data collected is then used to help them tackle and create more effective responses. The data is what matters, it helps with the justice department, also used to ensure accountability and transparency with the victims, defendents etc

You do have a valid case here but it's not to do with the paperwork. its to do with the lack of police officers and the police workforce
