yup
they call them "full stack" now
aka they do EVERYTHING now for the same pay
customer facing and backend
i dont want to get into that either lol, for the same reasons
systems/applications is where its at
yup yup
but thats what all the bootcamps cater towards
you leave top gun out of it!
yea iirc
inb4 The Daily Daily
The Daily Dose
gotta keep regular
they cover all kinds of shit
they got what keeps you moving
real on the edge of your ..seat.. journalism
true. it could be like the drudge report, news aggregation
-cracks whip- now code it
lol bet its already being squatted on
hahaha
a hwat?
it sounds like the name of a chihuahua
yea they announced they are no longer invite only.
what did they censor?
other than child porn
lol
lol well lets see. maybe there was somthing else they banned ๐
well lolli stuff too. i suppose. but that falls under child pron in some places
and yes yes i know, its a drawing
thts really going to be a deal breaker for you man?
no lollis?
cute.
i dont have a dog in the lolli fight bro
if you want to go jack off to kiddies, be my guest
beastiality is banned as well.
are you going to crusade for that?
fair enough.
look man, i get the NAP, but this is such a fringe issue that would do more harm than good for gab. The goal is to get the idea of free speech on the internet to spread. having cartoon kiddie porn as the face of the movement isnt smart. baby steps bro, baby steps. An internet bill of rights is what you should really be focusing on, as that will achieve your goals.
and the MSM will make it the face of the movement, you can count on that
I dont think its backing away from ones principles. Its compromising to make progress towards ones principles.
you can hold all the principles you want, but if you cant incrementally bring ppl over to your side, then what is the point?
radical change will always be rejected
akin to the boiling a frog analogy
bro we're being hyperbolic when we say that
....
its a valid analogy.
no one is focusing on conducting a study to see if a frog will actually stay in a pot
its commentary on social change is useful
there's all kinds of silly phrases that have odd origins, but are very useful in describing things
btw they just arrested the berkeley assault suspect. campus wide email just went out
Zachary Greenberg is his name
we will just have to agree to disagree then.
That is common in any arena i suppose. There is merit to it, but we do need ppl willing to compomise.
i would argue that it is only damaging if you are compromising in the wrong direction
like with 2A rights
its just an example. like wanting to repeal the NFA, but compromising on legalizing suppressors. its the direction of compromising that is key
a more 1A example in the wrong direction would be rejecting hate speech legislation, but allowing for blasphemy legislation
i think you missed my point. both are bad, and one is a subset of the other, so compromising in that direction is harmful
building a compiler, assembler, and linker
school
i go to UC Berkeley
yup
lol @wolfman1911 its CS program is still world class, even if i have to watch out for the occasional bike lock
lol i transfered from a community college, so i completed all the general education courses there. You have to take two social sciences courses (where the SJW stuff is rampant). I took macro and micro economics instead. So i've managed to avoid all that crap.
all my course work here at UC Berkeley is major specific. with the exception of one course I had to take, which was a mandatory social justice course. it was bs, professor said that the problem with norway is that they are having to deal with the fact that they are white.
would refer to us as comrade 30+ times a lecture
gave out extra credit for attending a union strike
it was a shit show.
naw, the econ professor was at the community college, and she was a republican
so it was pretty enjoyable. especially when she dropped the bomb about price floors and min wage.
yup, ive been around block before and am in no danger of being indoctrinated into the cult of diversity, equity, and inclusion
i came from the trades originally, and am doing this for more money
oh i know, i see it trickling in. the way they do it is in the stem courses that are designed for teaching stem
the 300 level courses are all focused on teaching, and this is where they wedge in the social justice. if you want to TA for a course, then you have to take one of these courses
which results in the spread of it in stem
indeed. its not the stem fields that are creating them, the barrier to entry is still too high for many. It's the other majors that are guilty of it. the administration as well. the chancellor just sent out an email detailing how all new faculty applicants must swear an oath of fealty to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
which means there will be no more dissent from new faculty
all that will be left to do is push out old faculty that do not covert
pretty much
i couldnt believe that he was the same dude in homeland
saul
yea i imdb'd him and realized that
i know, i grew up with the princess bride.

classic post hoc ergo propter hoc
there were threatening messages online. this happened afterwards. therefore the person who posted threatening messages caused this.
one of the worlds oldest fallacies. throw virgin into volcano. volcano doesnt erupt. sacrificing virgin prevented the volcano eruption.
