I don't really draw or paint much but I do work with steel and leather a lot
Thank you!
@Skellybrote thank you very much
@Anubis I designed my shop to be mobile because my day job requires me to move frequently. its not much but it works for me
Thanks. I plan on trying out for it later this year
@Normie Baby I do sell them. I mostly sell knives and occasionally I'll sell a bigger piece like the sword
The grinder cost around $2k
I haven't tried engraving yet but I'd like to some day. I have done a bit of chasing and repousse tho
I did cost a lot more for me to buy it but I got several upgrades for it. It's made that money back ten fold
I don't have an etsy set up yet. Most of my orders come from my coworkers. I work on the pipeline so I meet a lot of guys with extra money to spend
Welders helper right now. That's also why I bought a grinder instead of making one. It's kinda hard to build one while working 70 hours a week
I typically use 1095 carbon steel for most of my stuff but I use a lot if recycled materials as well
Yeah I've been giving other alloys a try... The main issue I have currently is time and storage space. Where do you get your steel?
Hmm ok I'll have to take a look and see what I can find
Ok sure thing man. Thanks for the advice
@Normie Baby I typically sell my single steel knives for around $160 on average. My damascus blades average at $300. As for the larger projects the price is heavily dependent on what on size and the complexity of the piece
As of right now I don't have anything as far as inventory goes so if you'd like to make an order I can add you to my build list.
